Be Honest

Barbie and Heman

I used to love playing with Barbie when I was a little girl. And to be totally honest, I didn’t really care what color she was either. I just loved how fashionable she was and could play for hours. I had the whole Barbie getup from houses, bikes and cars to school classrooms and veterinarian hospitals. Unfortunately, Barbie has been the cause of self-image issues for little girls. Barbie is criticized that her shape is unrealistic and gives little girls a false sense of beauty. Meanwhile, little boys are playing

What I have learned is that often times because a dollar amount is not associated with womanly duties
